Yes, yes, it's true that Cooper and I are pretty much flat out working on our book, but sometimes we're just going to have to come back here for a visit.
Yesterday, I came across this website that I simple MUST share with everyone! Go check out
It's hilarious. For "when you need to get off the phone," this site has every sound in the book, from a cellphone ring, to the kids to screaming, to a helicopter flying overhead. I was telling Cooper about the site, laughing so hard at the choices -- a particular favorite: "Someone just hit our car/fence" -- when someone really did come to our door and I HAD to go. I kept saying I really truly had to get off the phone, but I don't think Cooper fully believed me until I actually hung up.
Anyways, it's good for a laugh.
