Whew, ok this has been the most action packed summer of my life. Not only are we totally rebuilding TheMotherhood from scratch (it is going to be so completely awesome, stay tuned -- very soon!) my family and I have been on the road, traveling to all kinds of cool places for most of the summer. Our latest journey was to Brooklyn, NY for our oldest daughter to spend a totally AWESOME week rocking out at the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls. She went last year too and this time was even more magic than last time.
Willie Mae is one of the most amazing camps in the world. The girls spend a week writing songs, forming bands, learning instruments, learning self defense, studying the history of women in rock and having a screaming, jumping, rocking awesome time.

In the meantime, Go Obama (my younger daughter in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this weekend.)

Cooper - I have been a big fan of Willie Mae since there start. And I am glad to see there success in BK/NYC. Did you know they have an adult program?
