McCain is speaking on CNN as I read this.

He tells us we're naive and misguided and all but brushes off the five year anniversary of the war and the 4,000 of your dead (to say nothing of the innocents caught in the crossfire).

I found a poem today while I was browsing at Barnes & Noble. If I can find it again, I'll send it to you. It talks about insanity and almost leapt off the page at me.

Hope all is well with the two of you and your families.

In Los Angeles, the police department employs a man whose job is to repair, at no cost to the resident, the doors of homes that were broken into wrongly by the police.

What a powerful post. And oh so sad at the loss of so many brave Men and Women in Iraq.

Just Pure Lovely

Thanks for giving us the reminder. 4,000 sigh.
